The notion of Christmas everyday sounds great although I do believe that ‘Christmas’ on a loop (in a Groundhog Day scenario) would get tiresome pretty quickly. There is only so much turkey and tinsel one man can handle and variety is the spice of life! However, what would happen if we kept the good vibes of Christmas going throughout the year and just kept the traditions for winter?
The festive season encourages us to meet with friends, family and work colleagues for food and drink; our attitude towards ‘giving’ increases as we find the perfect presents for our loved ones or give generously to charity and we spread positive energy and joy as we say ‘Merry Christmas’ and ‘Happy Holidays’ to people we pass on the street. Overall, Christmas is full of good vibes!
So here is an idea….
Enjoy this Christmas to the max! And in the New Year – why not choose to keep the party going? Buy a random present or send a lovely card to someone you love. Plan a trip to visit a distant relative you normally only see on Boxing Day. Get your work colleagues together for a meal. Decorate your house for a year long celebration. Say ‘have a great day’ or ‘enjoy the sunshine’ to people you meet and focus on making them feel amazing. Keep the carolling and the tree for the 25th December yet adopt the mantra of I Wish it could Feel like Christmas Everyday and maintain the wonderful energy of spreading joy all year round.
Merry Christmas and have an EPIC 2016!
